Journal policy

The Bulletin of Abai KazNPU, series "International Life and Politics", publishes scientific articles on topical issues of international law and international relations. The editorial board, reviewers and authors of the journal strive to comply with high standards of scientific and publication ethics: transparency of interaction between the editors and the authors of the journal, free access to publications.
The most important goals and objectives of the journal Bulletin of Abai KazNPU, series "International Life and Politics":
1. Publication of original research on:
- international law: issues of the theory of international law; legal problems of territory and international security; means of settling disputes between states; includes issues of international humanitarian law; problems of implementation of space and air law; law of international organizations; diplomatic and consular law; maritime law; law of international treaties; international economic law, including its investment, trade, financial components; international legal issues of environmental protection and sustainable development; transboundary issues of combating crime; international legal aspects of mass media, including the status of cyberspace and digital law; the problems of the relationship between international and national (domestic) law.
- international relations: issues of contemporary world politics, history of international relations, applied study of international problems, global comprehensive regional studies, global and regional governance, the system and structure of contemporary interstate relations, international organizations and non-state participants in international relations. Particular attention is paid to materials devoted to the study of the role of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the system of international relations and the influence of the system of international relations on the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The journal is published in accordance with the following basic principles of editorial policy:
- The editorial board of the journal is guided in its activities by the principles of professionalism, objectivity, scientific character, impartiality. The authors, editor-in-chief, editor-in-chief, members of the editorial board of the journal bear ethical obligations related to the preparation of scientific publication and dissemination of the results of scientific research.
Objectives of the journal:
• reflect the results of research, scientific-practical and experimental activities of scientists in the field of international relations and international law;
• to promote the main achievements of science in the field of humanitarian research and jurisprudence;
• to inform the scientific community about current research and the latest developments;
• to promote the widespread development of the science of international law and international relations, covering issues of the theory of the activities of specialists in the fields of knowledge provided for by the subject matter of the journal;
• to attract the attention of scientists and specialists to current problems of science;
• to provide an opportunity to publish original scientific articles and reviews;
• to purposefully attract authors from other countries, to develop contacts with foreign scientists;
• to promote the activation of research activities in KazNPU named after Abai and other universities;
• to form a scientific community united by the subject matter of the journal.

Frequency: once a quarter, 4 times a year
Archiving and accessibility: This journal provides immediate open access to its content, the content of issues for the last twelve months and an archive of issues of previous years with access to the content.
