In the context of rapidly advancing globalization, international educational cooperation has taken on particular significance as one of the key factors in the sustainable socioeconomic and cultural development of nations. This article examines the role of international organizations in expanding and strengthening cooperation among countries in the fields of education, science, and academic exchange. Particular attention is paid to the activities of UNESCO, the OECD, and other international institutions, which serve as vital platforms for establishing common educational standards, developing intellectual partnerships, and promoting the principles of accessible and high-quality education.
The article examines contemporary mechanisms for implementing international educational programs aimed at enhancing academic mobility, exchanging scientific knowledge, and integrating national education systems into the global educational landscape. Using the example of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea, the article analyzes bilateral initiatives in the fields of higher education, the digitization of the educational process, the training of highly qualified personnel, and the implementation of international educational models. Particular attention is paid to the legal implementation of international standards and agreements within national education systems, as well as to the role of intergovernmental projects in strengthening humanitarian ties between countries.
The results of the study show that international organizations not only contribute to the development of the global educational space but also serve as key intermediaries in international integration, promoting the modernization of national education policies, improving the quality of education, and expanding international scientific and academic cooperation. In today’s context, international organizations are important instruments for building a knowledge society and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the field of education.
