In the modern educational environment of higher education institutions teaching is more and more focused on the formation of intercultural communication skills in professional environment, as learning a foreign language means contact with the culture and realities of the country. Communication requires mutual understanding, exchange and interaction not only on a linguistic level. Successful intercultural communication in a professional environment does not only depend on language proficiency. Without language competence, even the simplest communication is sometimes not possible in a professional setting. In particular, this means increasing the share of students' own independent work in foreign language lessons.
