Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of role-playing games in teaching French at the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It analyzes their role in developing speaking skills, enhancing communicative competence, and reducing language anxiety. Studies show that role-playing activities facilitate active language use and shift learners from passive knowledge to practical communication.
