ISSUES OF SOVEREIGNTY IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE FORMATION OF A NEW WORLD ORDER: TRENDS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract

This article attempts to show a change in the in modern international relations approaches to sovereignty. In the author's opinion, the strengthening of humanistic components in views on international relations have become a powerful incentive for criticizing sovereignty and seeking opportunities for its limitation. The concept of sovereignty is complex and ambiguous. Its content continues to change in connection with changes in political systems in different states. The need to rethink and reevaluate the concept of "sovereignty" is due to the transition of some of the functions that previously belonged exclusively to the state to other actors. National-state sovereignty changes and develops, adapts to new conditions and adapts them to itself, therefore it does not disappear, but changes and is filled with new content.
