On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the tragic expulsion of the Crimean Tatar people from their homeland in 1944, it is imperative to elucidate and delineate the pivotal role of women, specifically the Crimean Tatar Muslim woman, in historical narratives. It is well-established that within Crimean Tatar society, women have consistently held significant and indispensable roles in the conception, nurturing, and intellectual development of individuals who form an integral part of the nation. Across the extensive continuum of history, spanning from the genesis of the Crimean Khanate to contemporary epochs, Crimean Tatar women have wielded substantial influence within the political, social, educational, and spiritual domains of existence, not only among Turkic communities but also within diverse ethnic groups. Prominent figures such as Nur Sultan Khatun, Shefika Gasprinskaya, Alime Abdennanova, Aishe Seyitmuratova, Sabrie Seutova, Sabrie Eredzhepova, and others have left indelible imprints on numerous historical junctures intertwined with the trajectory of the Crimean Tatars.
