This article examines the modern aspects of the international legal fight against terrorism. It analyzes key international treaties, UN resolutions, as well as the practices of international and regional organizations in the field of counter-terrorism. Particular attention is paid to the coordination of state efforts, the unification of approaches to the definition of terrorism, and the role of multilateral cooperation. Current challenges are identified, including cyberterrorism, the transboundary nature of terrorist threats, and the use of digital technologies by terrorist organizations. The article concludes by outlining key trends in the further development of the international legal mechanism for combating terrorism, including strengthening international cooperation, improving the regulatory framework, and enhancing measures to prevent terrorism financing.
